Part Identification

On my 784, on the RH side, there is what I call a "mower depth gauge". It is riveted to the frame. It tells where your deck is, with respect to height. It goes from #1 to #8, with 8 being in the highest position. Occasionally, I have seen them on the Web for sale. I have looked in my Paper Library, as well as Cub Cadet's online lookup, and can't find a part number.
(A) what is the proper term for this part? (B) what is the part number? |

Is there a way to find the correct location to add one of those to a machine that doesn't have it? As I recall the older machines don't have any holes predrilled or marked in the frame. I always found it handy on my Uncles 1811 and my 782 doesn't have one.

Thanks Lew. Out of curiosity, how and where did you find that ??

I just went there. Plugged in 782, and I get the same as my original post.
I did find it under the 1811, though. |

Plugging in 703-0828, here is what Cub Cadet says "where it was used"....
Bad search function from Cub Cadet. :bash2: |

If you type "782" the Pop up menu does not list this part.
BUT..... if you type in "146-782-100" (1811) the Pop Up menu shows the part, and part number. :bash2: |
