192-400 Tiller

I'm helping a friend with his 192-400 tiller, I was able to get the Briggs 8 HP running and the tines to engage properly. As we mounted it on the tractor it doesn't appear to have as much lift as I would think is correct, it does not lift high enough for the tail wheel to separate from the ground. Is this common for these tillers?

Does anyone have a picture or operators manual that shows correct mounting/attachment to the tractor?

I sold one a while back so I am going a bit off memory here. The support
wheel does not clear the ground at all. Since there is no center link
coming from the tractor to the tiller. It only pivots on the lift arms.
Always worked just fine but I have to do a lot of backing up in my garden
so it didn't work to well for me.

Thanks for the pictures!

The 400 tiller in question is on a 1650, it has a sleeve hitch adapter on it I was worried was limiting the vertical lift travel.

I'll try and post a picture tonight.

three point cat o tiller with the third wheel

Hi I have that model. Used on my 782d with three point cat o
the rear wheel is the only suppor for depth and height as the tiller does
not have a provision for the adjustable upper link arm.
mine just barely had enough lift to keep the tines from the yard.
sort of how they designed it.
