Mower deck spindle and pulley

I have a 42 1 u deck and the center pulley is bad. I also have a 48 2 u deck that was on the running 125. My question well questions is how do I go about getting the bad center pulley off the spindle as the center has a grease zerk so I don’t think I can use a puller. 2nd question would the cast iron nose from the 42 inch deck fit the 48 inch deck. All 6 spindles seem to be moving fine but looking at my 48 inch deck with the busted cast iron nose and 1 rust blow out spot I was thinking of just using the parts mower 42 inch deck insted if I can get that center pulley off.

Part numbers are cast into the nose pieces.
It depends on which model year deck you have
Check the numbers on the replacement part to be sure that are the same.

I don't believe the 42 and 48 cast nose pcs are interchangeable,I tried once and the angle is different , as far as removing the pulley after the grease fitting is removed it should pull up off the keyed shaft I've done these a while ago sometimes I've used a pc of brass and knocked the shaft down with the pulley laying on the jaws of a vice ,but from what I remember the zerk and washer kind of hold it all together ...

Going to try and remove the zerk fitting tomorrow, the bottom of the 2 slot pulley is totally rusted and gone so if I destroy it with a puller nothing lost at all. In the pics above that is what it looked like after picking at the top of it for almost 1 hour with a pick and many screw drivers. The spindle moves freely tho.

That does thank you, I was thinking the zerk was like the ones in my snowblower press in.
