IH Cub 982, 1650, 169 Which One Do I Keep?

As fellow IH Cub Cadet enthusiast's I am looking for your opinion! I have been a Cub Cadet Collector for 40 years, working at 4 different CC dealers part time and pulled Stock Altered Cubs for many years. I had a very large collection of Cubs, selling off all but 3 several years ago. Presently have a IH 982, 1650 and 169 which I plan to keep 1 and sell the other 2. I would like opinions of which I should keep and sell. Of the 3 I would like to know which is the most desirable, but not necessarily the most rare. Also what a "fair price" of what each is worth. Included are descriptions of each and a few pictures (plan to get better pictures in next few days and some of 1650). Thank You!

IH Cub Cadet 982, Mostly original paint, rear cat 0 hitch and rear PTO, dual hydraulics (front outlets) dual brake pedals, newer 20 hp Performer Onan engine, 60" Haban mower, 48" IH PTO tiller and 54" Haban power angle blade. Nice original condition, runs/works great.

IH 1650, dual hydraulics (front outlets), hydraulic lift, 44" mower, sleave hitch, 42" power angle plow, 42" blower, PTO belt drive tiller. Nice original condition, run/works great.

IH 169, Quick Way Loader with 36" & 48" buckets, hydraulic lift,44" mower, 42" plow, sleave hitch. Nice original condition, runs/works great.

If anyone is interested in any of these send me a private message!

Very nice collection and they look in great condition and well maintained. That is a tough decision of which one of the three to keep. Were it me, I would keep the 982 and the 169. However, if push came to shove, there is NO substitute for a FEL - if you need a loader (who doesn't need a loader!). Your 169 with all the attachments would fetch a premium at between $7-10k up here in Western MA/Northern CT. The 982 with all the attachments and newer Onan engine, between $4-5k.

Let us know what you decide.

982 of course. The 1650 is a neat piece, but I favor the 82 series by a long shot.

From my view, hands down on the 982.

What makes the 982 the easy choice? Features, serviceability, longevity, red hot good looks?

It's a super and looks like it has Cat 0 and rear PTO as well.
All your bases are covered allowing you all the scenarios for possible use.

Hmmm, I posted a response yesterday and today it's gone? Anyway, what I said was as much as I would love a 982 that front end loader wins hands down IMHO. I hunted for one for almost 2 years and finally gave up and picked up a loader for my Farmall Cub instead.

Everyone that has responded to this point, Thank You! I will say this was unexpected. The 169 was King of the Cub Cadet Kingdom for many years and may have fallen from the throne, or many of the 169 enthusiasts just have not spoke up in numbers yet. We will have to wait for a few days and see how the numbers play out then make the big decision. I will keep watching!

Each of those three tractors have some uniqueness to them.

The 169 being the first 16HP Cub and couple that with a loader.

The 1650 with Dual Hydraulics.

The 982 loaded up with all the options.

Hard choice.
