1200 carburetor replacement
 

I'm looking to replace my walbro carb. I was looking at the replacement from I save tractors.
Anyone here have experience doing this? Are there any other parts like linkage that will need to be modified or replaced?

I completely overhauled my K301 in my 125 with the I save tractors kit and it was great. Only things that weren’t new were my block, cam, crank, oil pan and covers. The kit comes with detailed instructions on their carb set up and Norman will answer any questions you have. He is passionate about these old tractors and his tech support shows it.

The model 1200 rolled out of the Factory with a Kohler Engine K301AQS-47541. That engine had this carburetor on it: 4705308 CARBURETOR - USE 47 853 09, Before Serial No. 1724400013. Use: 47 053 08---> 47 853 20-S .

The OEM 47-053-08 was a Kohler (Carter) adjustable Jet Carburetor.

My suggestion is to replace the carb with one, the emulates the original.
