Hello from NEK, Vermont
Hi,
I'm Gary from the North East Kingdom in Vermont, right along the Canadian border and my ride :biggrin2: is a 7234, 3cyl, 23hp, diesel Cub Cadet with a 417 loader. I got it about a month and a half ago mostly to draw brush and plow my driveway in the winter. I've got a little over ten acres that I used to keep cows on..After getting rid of my cows 4-5 years back, the brush has grown like crazy, Willows, bramble and the like. Anyway, I've always needed a tractor for odd jobs and finally saw one priced within a range I could afford from a used farm equip. dealer. Cheap used tractors in my area are hard to find, as we're so far north...Going south a hundred miles or more or even heading to NH opens up a bigger market thus cheaper prices. Anyway my tractor has 1350hrs on it but they appear to be light hrs. The tractor was well mantained I believe indoors. Mind you, day one I blew a hydraulic hose. The only real issue I think I have is a light white smoke that persist even after warm up. That's what led me to this forum when I googled the issue...Anyway I have a new fuel filter on the way and will go thru the other suggestion I've found here to date to track down the issue. I probably won't get to the injecters til next spring, (that is if I can't find a simpler solution to the smoke), because I have no warm place to work...Again though, it's really light smoke at this point. Anyway, I like this tractor for it's size and versatility. I've already attached a 4ft bushog to it and it's ran great....I'll try and get a picture to upload in the near future. Talk to ya's down the road Gary :American Flag 1: |
