Hydropump

Has any one that owns a 1862 or 1863 have any problems with this type of hydro? How does it compare to the Sundstrand pump?

Hydro pump

I believe that the 1862 and the 1864 have the sundstrand hydro with power steering. The 1863 as well as the 1861 have the standard hydro and no power steering. The sundstrand is the better of the two hydros.

The sundstrand is the better pump but the hydro gear is still a good pump. Are you looking at one?

1863 has a Hydrogear pump

Hydro pumps

Thanks for the info. I was reading about the 1862,1863, and 1864 in the book 50 years of cub cadets. Great book. I am trying to find one reasonably priced not too far from me in WV. Thanks all, and have a great day.
