1000 quietline PTO belt

The PTO belt keeps slipping off the center pulley. From the side when the deck is down it appears to go into the pulley at an off angle. is this normal? If not what can I do to fix the alignment. I also find that my deck is missing the front roller could this be the problem?

If it belt is coming into a pulley at a funky angle that is probably not
the way it should look. I would get down and spend some serious time
looking at exactly the way the whole thing works. Are all the pulleys
free and lined up or has something got loose and not aligned. Is everything
moving freely. Is the deck belt moving freely and turning the blades?
The front roller you refer to, if you mean the roller that attaches to the
middle of the deck and rides on the ground. I don't believe that would
cause your troubles. Let us know what you see down there.
The great news is the belt is slipping and not breaking.

Time to hit the manual and set the deck up properly.
Sounds like it's hanging way too low on the front.
Start with correct tire pressure on all 4 corners and go from there.

Good advice there, also... What size belt are you using?

Hopefully, the correct size as listed in the belt charts also available on this site.

Thank you, thats a very good question. I'll have to find that chart and get some new belts.
