M20 Flywheel

Working on my Son's Kohler M-20 Engine. I am "attempting" to remove the flywheel. I have already broke a Puller, and for the life of me, can't seem to get the flywheel to budge.

Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or advice ??

Are you using a harmonic balancer puller?

Can you safely put some heat on it?

I can, but don't know how much is "safe".

Neither do I, but it's gotta come off, right? Hardest think I had to pull was the crank pulley on a Farmall C; took a big 3 jaw and a lot of heat before it blew off of there.

Little bit of heat, load up the puller, and rap the drive screw with a few toots of the air hammer?
