I hope this type of post isn't old hat, but here's what I recently found. I haven't seen this tractor, but is it a no-brainer purchase? What would be a good offer? Thanks a million!

Oh, I got the numbers, and I believe it is indeed a 1960. Got to be an Original, right?

SPEC # 28542E and the model # is K161S -494024

It's an Original, but production didn't start until 1961. The Original was built from 61 to 63. Can you get us the serial number of the tractor? :beerchug:

Those numbers are for the motor. The K161S tells me that it was an electric start Kohler motor from the factory.

Check to the left of the "s" of the phrase serial number.
