Pitch buildup on one side of blade only

I am wondering why I only get pitch buildup on one side of the saw blade on my circular saw. It seems to be cutting OK with no burning etc. I could not find anything on line to explain this. Has anyone else seen this?

I would think the saw "set" is more to one side than the other, but I ain't no carpenter :BlahBlah:

Lots of identical cuts? Assuming it's not the wood/cut and the blade is true, not sure

1)Saw plate (base) or saw mounted guide maybe be out of alignment with the blade. Usually most circular saw don't have any real adjustment.

2). If you are cutting free hand, you could have tendency to lean on or push crooked. Remember, the handle on saw is usually offset the centerline of blade. Use guide when possible.

3) Blade has a warp or bend. Do you see pitch on certain parts of the one side of the blade?

4) Wet/green lumber. Also, there are many dried lumber that has tension which is released when cutting and it sometimes pinch or bind the blade.
