QA42A part ID help
3 Attachment(s)
I can't find the part number for this busted piece on the cub website, could anyone point me in the right direction? I'm guessing maybe they don't make a replacement part for this, so if that's the case, should I attempt to weld some new pin holders on the old part?

Go to the Parts Lookup at the top of the page. Use "QA42" as the model number. Once it populates the sections, look at the "Rotor" section for the parts breakdown.

Thanks Roland, looks like the part number is 397032-R1 and they aren't available that I can see.

You can search the Internet and the Auction Sites for Good Used Parts. You can click on the Sponsors Tabs above (Houtz and Patton), to see if they have any in their Bone Yards.

That's the chain adjuster. You can find them at CCspecialties through this link and I've seen them on eBay as well.
Get a another one, you're unlikely to be able to weld to that aluminum piece successfully. The other thread I made for snow thrower parts help might help you in the future: https://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/...ad.php?t=59410 |
