moving hydraulics from a 1650 to a 129

Hello,
I have a 129 with a transplanted later model K321, 14 hp motor. I would like to transplant the hydraulics from a 1650 into this dash tower. Later, I would like to find a 2 spool control valve and was wondering if the dash tower of the 129 would have mounting capabilities for the 2 spool valve and control handles. I would just transplant the 1650 dash tower assembly, but I like the hydro control lever on the 129 vs the 1650. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

The dashes are similar enough that you can just transfer all of the hydraulic parts to the 129 dash. The lift lever goes in the same place on both dashes.

Thanks Matt

The control valve seems stuck on the 1650. I tried moving the operating lever, but it didn't want to move. Can you use penetrating fluid on it? Or do I just need to try a little harder?

Penetrant is fine...usually the O-rings dry up and it won't move. You will probably also have to try a little harder. You might want to think about replacing those O-rings, as they may leak after this.

Thought I would blow the dust off of this thread. I still haven't worked on either tractor yet due to medical issues. The 129 is my loader tractor. I would like to install one of Aaron Schmidt's cat 0 3point hitches on it. I wanting to have the capability to alternate between a box blade, weight box, A-frame to move around trailers. Will the hydraulic cylinder from the quiet line series handle the stress? Just trying to head off any disappointment before I get too deep.

Thanks for any input.
