1541 cub cadet

Will a QA36A snow blower fit on a 1541? Does it have the quick attach like the cub 149? Also does it have the hyd. lift for the mowing deck? Will a rear lift from a 149 bolt on with out alterations? Thinking of looking at one for sale near me. All input appreciated. Have a great day.

According to Cub Cadet, the correct snowthrower is: 45" Snow Thrower 190-450-100

I assume with "some modification(s)" that the QA36A may work.

Thanks Roland. I have the QA36A snow blower for my 149. Was hoping it would fit the 1541 without any mods. The tires are same size as the 149. Was hoping everything else would be pretty much the same. Thanks again and have a great day.

A qa36/42B should work. You should have a 4” PTO, just need to get 5/8 pulley for the blower, and the correct front pivot to convert the “A” to a “B”

I don't believe there was ever a QA-42B, just the QA-36B. The blowers bigger than 36" were haban blowers when it got to the 82 series.

As for the 1541, depending on the year, it might have a super steer axle, which likely means that the geometry would be such that the blower won't touch the ground. I've seen QA blowers on cyclops machines before and I don't think it's a great solution, personally. The 451/551 are much much better snow movers than those old single stage machines.
