I put some new hoses on my log splitter as they were older than George.
Also put an hour meter on there as a maintenance reminder.
Got a Danfoss koosie for free but the hoses and a new gauge cost me $150.00.

Slap some new paint on 'er and she'll look as good as new!!! Diggin' the "Cub Cadet" hour meter. Like your tricked out splitter, Uncle Lewy!!! Could use some fuzzy dice or dingle balls.

All kidding aside, smart move on the hour meter for maintenance!

I do not understand the use of the word "swag" in Australia a swag is a bag or sack and in the old days some one roaming the country towns carrying all his worldly possessions in swag was of course referred to as a swagman
Your log splitter looks good but as we are now in Spring heading for Summer i do not have a use but will keep you in mind

Actually, Swag here means sort of the same thing.. Like at a trade show they usually give you a bag to put all the free goodies in that the vendors hand out. A bag of swag :beerchug:

Thanks for the explanation , Cooperino in Aust we would get a swag of goodies at a trade show
I guess we have a lot of slightly different interpretations on words , extreme case , we had a Cheddar cheese here in Australia it was made in a special way and was named after the inventor of the process Edward Coon anyway suddenly after a minor outcry and only after nearly 90 thats right 90 years did it suddenly become politically incorrect to have a cheese named after a man who invented the process
Sorry if this in anyway is not in the best interest
