104 & 126
Aside from horsepower, what are the main differences between these two? Can I swap mower decks, (42"-48") body/frame parts, engine/certain engine parts?

They are both narrow frames and everything should interchange. Other than the 10 horse having a shorter stroke you should be ok on any motor parts you need to change.
I don't know if you have been to Brian Millers sight but there is a lot of info over there about motors and drivetrain. Here is a link. http://gardentractorpullingtips.com/index.htm Randy |
I'm new to the Cub Cadets. I do own a 104 and am always looking at what fits what. The only difference that comes to mind is the brakes. The 104 has internal and the 106 which was built to replace the 104 has external brakes. The 106 is the 10hp. version of your great little tractor.
