steering modification

has anyone here done this or seen it done? it seems like a simple easy way to get a sharper turn on your cub if you feel it could use a tighter turning radius, all you realy need is the top of the right spindle and a drill bit.

Nice video good instruction, but wouldn't taking leverage away from the drag link arm create more stress on the steering gear?

Yep, and make it slightly harder to steer, too.

i know on my 125 i went over the entire steering system greasing and adjusting one time, did every thing short of pulling and rebuilding the column and every thing works fine but i find that over inflating the fronts helps out a great deal in making for an easy steering tractor.

might not be the right thing to do but it works and tires are no more inflated then what you would have to run if you had a fel or a snow blower hanging off the front.

I hate to admit it but I agree.

Most of my tractors have way too much air in the front tires.
