New member from IL, with 2182 questions
I acquired a 2182 with a 60" deck. I got it for next to nothing. (I don't think the guy knew what he had) Has 1,643 original hours. Its in great shape.
1. I'm trying to figure out what model of snow blower will fit this. 2. Depending on price, I'd like to find a tiller for it. It does not have a rear PTO. I imagine the kit is hard to come by. Is there an aftermarket option for a tiller? I have a other minor questions but these are my main two. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Kyle |
First, welcome to OCC......:Welcome2:
There were two production runs for the 2182. If the chassis serial is 821,100 and below, the 190-450-100 snowblower will fit. If the s/n is 821,101 & higher, the 190-451-100 snowblower will fit. As far as the Rear PTO Kit, they are out there, just have to watch and be patient. |
Its ser#807138 so its a 1990. I found a 3pt and pto on craigslist for $1,450. Is this in line or is it too much?
https://indianapolis.craigslist.org/...336932983.html I have no idea what they're worth because this is the only one I could find online. |
All depends on the buyers willingness to pay for what they want...
I don't see the top link or the PTO Switch harness... For that price I would expect the fuses, wire ties, black tape and loom!! |

If you got a 3 point, you can use a model 400 tiller. It has its own engine. Sam-Mac has got one for sale in the For Sale section.

i thought it was high. I could understand if its all there. Thank you.
I may just look for a pull behind with its own motor. Now just keeping an eye out for a snow blower. Thanks for your help! |
There is a guy in Paxton IL that has all the super cub stuff you'll ever want.
He has ads on FB marketplace. His name is Jeff something. |
