Ultima ZT1 transmission question
 

I have a new ZT1 which has the 2 hydrostatic transmissions.

When I first start the mower in the morning the left transmission won't go into forward typically, the handle has resistance, and the transmission whines.

If however I go into reverse however briefly, it will then go into forward.

No issues on the right transmission.

Once this has occurred once it normally doesn't reoccur while the machine is in use, currently I am on/off the tractor a lot hauling brush and cleaning up out yard.

Once the tractor is parked and off for a bit it will reoccur.

Not sure if this is truly a transmission issue, or if the parking brake might be involved, or?

Is it still under warranty?

Yes, it is. I figure I'll ask the local dealer if I see other oddities.

Sounds like a brake is sticking, but I’m not to familiar with the zt1.
