1711 don't see many post about these
 

Picked up a 1711 with 50 inch deck don't see many post about this model same as a 782 IH only made one year . Anybody else have one ?

Well if you look at the main thing, they were only made one year so... one would suspect,
that the production numbers weren't all that high/great, therefore there wouldn't be many out there for the masses, and thus, not much talk/attention
is paid too them. It's my theory on it. :beerchug:

1711 is the SAME thing as a 782.

I forgot too mention that in my Craigslist travels, I ran across a 1711 posted awhile back.
I laughed when I read the add. It has one of them there new fangled Predictor power plants in there
that must have been purchased at Under Harbor Freight. :bigthink: The guy wanted a lot for what it is, or ain't,
depending on how you look at it. :biggrin2: . I'll look for it and post it.

Well, to be honest, it DOES make more sense...

The only Cub monikers that EVER made any sense (to me) is the 70 and 100.
