Cub Cadet Original Hydraulic Lift
I found a hydraulic lift for my Cub Cadet Original. I'm not quite prepared to drill holes into the side of my antique tractor though. Anyone have any alternatives to drilling holes? Maybe some kind of clamp or something?

A clamp is likely to do more damage than mounting it the proper way. They made over 400,000 originals. You have two good options, either mount the hydraulic lift on the original by drilling the holes and mounting it properly or else get another cub cadet and mount the hydraulic lift properly on it.

They made only 65,000. Did you get the pulley that mounts on the clutch pulley?

Actually, IH made 64,867 Production Models of the Originals, for sale.

What about (right hand and left hand) 3 inch extension plates with existing bolt pattern for Original Cub towards the front. Then fabricate whatever it takes to weld or bolt something to those two plates That will keep you from modifying your frame and keep it original. :American Flag 1:. |
