Spill chick help
OK, what happened to spell check? For the life of me, I can't find where to turn it on??:bigthink:
I have been composing replies in my email program where spell check works then cut/paste on OCC. I know it is simple but I never learned typing much less computers. I learned by pushing buttons to see what happens  It used to work but not now. Thanks. |

Okay, Ole' George......I'm just funning. What email program are you using? This forum already has a spell checker built into it. If you misspell a word, then it underlines it in red. You can always click on the "+" sign at the top of your screen next to the tab that reads "Only Cub Cadets". That will open a new window for you where you can just type "www.google.com" (or some other search engine). Then do your best to type in a word and press enter on your keyboard. It will take you to a new screen that will show you the correct spelling of the word you want. Cub Cadet 123 |

I know how to turn on the chick by inserting my hard drive in da floppy disk then booting things up a notch :biggrin2: but what I really mean: Thank you for the reply I fully understand multiple windows and google. The problem here is a couple of weeks ago spell check quit working on OCC. it works in other programs just not OCC. it also works in both my email programs and google and other sights I frequent just not in the OCC forum. That is my problem. Hell I physically fix these old dinasaurs and reformat hard drives, replace components etc, But for the life of me if I can't figure out why spell check quit working on this forum! Thanks |

now it no doze dat at all wiff wormy lines udder the word, as I tipe now. Absoultly nothing to indicate a problem. So I will try later using one of my other dinasaurs'pooters and see if it is this dell I am running winners 10 on that they say can't be done :biggrin2: The others are running win 7 that orginally came with XP and said I couldn't put 7 operating system on. They are just painfully slow with antiquated processors. but as long as you convince it to accept foreign drivers or Vista drivers most all things work as they should. Hell I could buy new computers but what fun would that be? :beerchug: Thanks for trying to help. |
Well I found it, spell check got turned off in google.
thanks for the help. (and the humor) :biggrin2: |
George, I used OCC Spell Check to correct the few errors on your First Post on this thread.

If you use Firefox as your browser you can get an add-on called Grammarly.
It not only checks your spelling but grammar too. https://www.grammarly.com/?q=brand&u...E&gclsrc=aw.ds |
If I had a fiery fox to deal with, I don't know if my troubles would all go away, or get worse.
---but might be worth trying :biggrin2: I ain't as good as I once was, but good once as I always was, or is it were? --guaranteed things would be different But it is nice to have spell check back. Not only for me, but those poor folks that read my gibberish. I get along better with spell check than I do that selexia lady. She is not as smart as they make her out to be. I get upset and vent my anger, then she says "sorry I don't know that" Then there is the lady in my "Tom-Tom" I don't know why they call her Tom-Tom it would be much better if it was Suzie smart or Mary-Jane, but maybe it's a gender neutral thing. I program her to go to a tractor show or whatever, then I see something along the way and turn around or go for a look see and she says "well recalculating" "or go back or turn around" And they call it "intelligence" I don't think so! She is dummier than them elected Gubbermint people. I'd be still be using paper maps but they print them so small now a days, and the fillin' stations don't give then away anymore. |
I have a friend that had Mr. T on his GPS and whenever we decided to change routes he'd say "that's going to make Mr. T mad!"
After the deviation you'd hear from the GPS "You FOOL!!! I said go straight!!" |
