Cub Spike Harrow???!!???
1 Attachment(s)
SO when you can't even find it on Google, you have to ask the experts. Picked up this IH Spike Harrow this weekend...Never seen one so took a shot. It is about 60" wide total width. Can see faint IH white and the IH decal. Not sure if made for Cub Cadet garder, loboy or a Farmall a/cub. Any help is appreciated.

Nice rare find and it is a cub cadet peg tooth harrow. Looks like you got it complete.

First, welcome to OCC.......... :Welcome2:
I went into my CC Library and looked back until 1961 in the SDE catalogs and I could not find a "spike tooth drag". Brinly-Hardy made a "rolling spike" drag that was WH White. That is the best I could find. |
Pay It Forward
After darkminion_17's response, I found a parts diagram and it was also featured in a 1961 Sales Brochure from Cub. I've attached the .pdf of the sales brochure.

As I said, I searched the SDE Catalogs from 1963 to 1981 and that is not in there. Interesting to find. I see it is classified as an "accessory". Maybe that it why I could not find it.

At my job I often say "The smartest person in the room, is the room". I was stuck and I appreciate everyone's efforts and knowledge to help solve. Now time to get to work restoring.

It amazes me that "terminology" can make a big difference in a search.
 |
Nice find!
