Rear end removal???

How do I get the rear end out of a 125? I removed the 4 underside bolts and the 4 out side bolts and the drive shaft is off and I still can't get it to move. What am I doing wrong?

I think theres 6 side bolts, three on each side.

Yup, 3 on each side. Not sure what "the 4 underside bolts" are that you spoke of, gotta unhook the brake linkage and the forward/reverse rod and the link from the pedal shaft to the neutral rod... I think that's it.

I would also put a jackstand under each footrest and use a small floor jack under the rear and then roll it out the back of the tractor.

I just did this last week with my 125 and did it just like Matt and Sam said. It is still held together with some friction and grease and stuff but it will pull apart.

By the way, was your metal fan still intact or not?
