Anybody running, say, 25x10-12 tires in place of 23x10.50-12?
 

I guess the title says it all. I'm curious if anyone has gone oversize on the rear tires and if there's any interference issue with the fenders. I'm specifically considering for a 728 but experience with anything in that family should be helpful. Currently mulling around some ideas. Thanks.

When if first got my 782 it had taller tires on it. Can't remember exact size, but I believe my research shows that a 26" will fit, I may be wrong. The 26" tire is about double the cost. My motivation to move back to a larger tire was to increase cutting height, deck will not raise any higher than 2.25" cutting height.

I have a 1641 that the previous owner put taller ATV tires on. Tractor is not here so I can't see the size but they are a good 1-2" taller than the OEM 23 tires.

If I recall correctly, there may be some slight shimming of the fender pan needed to clear the extra height. Gearing was designed for the 23” tires, hence why the supers were geared differently for the 26” tires.

I'm running some larger tires on mine, the only thing I had to do was put a washer behind each of the holes where the studs go through rims. I was just a little shy without them, and the tires rubbed on the inner fender well of the seat pan.

I originally ordered a pair of 23x10.50-12 only to find they actually measured 21x9-12 so they went back. I then ordered a pair of 24x12-12's. They actually measured 23x11-12. Close enough so I had them mounted. Put them on the tractor today and they fit perfectly. Correct height and no interference.

What brand were the ones you sent back??
Is the second set the same brand or a different brand??

Sent the Deestones back. These are MaxAuto brand, out of Thailand I think.
