2086 with older H48 snow blower?

Hey guys,
Has anyone used an older style H48 single stage blower on a 2086 or similar tractor? It looks like it will mount up fine as it came off my 1711 which is wide frame as well. The problem I see is the lift rod. The lift arm on the 1711 is higher on the frame and pulls back to lift where as the 2086 is down below the frame and moves forward to lift. My initial thought is to add an intermediate rocker arm to raise the connection point and change the direction of movement. The plan is to leave the the plow blade on the 1711 for light snow and use the 2086 and blower for heavy snow.

The 2086 I believe, has the 6in.PTO clutch which would overspeed the blower. The H48 was designed to be used with the 4.5in. PTO.

Thanks for the info Mcamp. I believe the driven pulley on the thrower is "4.5. So if I change out the driven pulley to a 6" and get the ratio back to 1 to 1 or near I should be ok? there looks to be enough room for a larger pulley and a longer belt. I have the thrower mounted and was able to make a lift rod out of some 1/4 x 1-1/4 flat stock I had laying around.
