2082 Hydrostatic Control Racing
 

I have a 2082 Cub Cadet with a 60" deck. I just finished refurbishing the tractor. While operating the tractor the hydrostatic control lever moves up causing the tractor to increase speed. Any thoughts on what is causing this problem? How do I adjust the control lever?

Easy fix, you need to tighten the nut behind the plastic dash cover. Go easy because it doesn't take much adjustment. The nut is behind the red circle in this pic. It's easier to get at if you rotate the hydraulic lines forward just a bit. Loosen the bolt that the green arrow points to.
