Cub Cadet 70 transmission
 

Hi all:

I'm new but really having problems with a Cub Cadet 70. I had to replace some gears, and now all put back together, I think correct, but for some reason have only goes forward in first. All other shifts are reverse. Can you, or some one point me right for help or help please ?

Do you have a Chassis Service Manual ?? :bigthink:

Seems as if the engine is running wrong way or you need to turn the seat around....

....Is this your first time running this tractor(as if you recently picked it up)??

Congratulations,
you have installed the ring gear carrier improperly for your application.
Take it back out and put it in with the ring gear facing the other side.
If you properly set the gear lash/tooth pattern, you will have to re set it.:beerchug:
Your other choice is install the seat facing rearward and install hi/lo forks on the rear, they are very handy for moving small pallets.:bigthink:
