149 mower mounting...

My 149 came with the 38" deck and is working fine.

I recently acquired a 44" deck I'd like to try -- It should hook up to the mule the same way right?
does it use the same size drive belt?
And when lifting my 38" mower, should it lift evenly -- is it indicative of a mule problem if it doesn't lift evenly?

Not necessarily. Could be the Rock Shaft Arms.

Too many projects -- but I guess I'll have to try the 44" mover to see if I prefer it to the 38"...

Are the spindles from a 44 the same as a 38?
