Never jump to conclusions
Hello gang. Been a while since I posted on here.
The PTO on my 1250 quit on me while I was mowing. I had an old Troy-Bilt with a flat rear tire to use until I could get to the Cub. Replaced the tire(sidewall was cut) and used this mower. Then the PTO belt on this mower broke! Fixed it and continued to use the Troy. I walked past the Cub and there was oil on the floor! :HeadScratch: Finally took time to see what was going on with the Cub. It turns out the electrical connector for the PTO vibrated loose! It wasn't "clicked" in place. The oil leak was the drain plug needing snugged up! Easy fixes that could have been a lot worse. Excited to get to mow with the Cub again. :biggrin2: |
Welcome back bully! Glad ya got her going :beerchug:

It’s always nice when it’s a simple fix. Good thing you noticed the loose drain plug. My dad used to have a 127. One day while he was mowing the drain plug loosened up and fell out, and he didn’t notice. As you can imagine, that didn’t end very well.
