DIY Receiver Hitch for my Electric Toro
2 Attachment(s)
Fabricated a receiver hitch for my Toro Electric Tractor. Had to move a 2000# trailer last night. Had to go up quite a hill. Tractor didn't even breath hard! All that battery weight really helps traction on wet grass....

A #2000 trailer on a lawnmower transaxle with no bearings and just small axles in aluminum housings and a little brake
I sincerely wish you luck. |
But it has disc brakes! "Stop on a dime with 9 cents change"
|
So how much to convert???
Can you put a small wheeled alternator on the rear tire so when you are moving its charging the batteries??? |
:bigthink: 2000 pound trailers usually have 200 or more pounds of tongue weight. I would say you were pushing the limits of that little guy just a wee bit
