Cub cadet 124 having problems
 

I hope you guys can help me here I was out cutting the grass the other day with my 124 and it just randomly revved up like the governor wasn’t even there so I checked the governor to make sure it was still set right and it was I also took notice that the engine seem to be running hotter to I don’t know if maybe it’s getting to much fuel and caused this to happen anyone know how I can retune my carb and what else might be going on here

The opposite.....lean condition can cause motor to rev up. Maybe running low on fuel or crap in the lines. Does it help if you richen the main screw. Or pull the choke a little?

It has full tank of new gas info I pull the choke out some it runs like it should
