551 snowblower maintenance And 2284
 

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 2284 with a 551 blower and sims cab (only 250 actual hours) I tried searching but I can find the procedure for greasing. I have the Manuel for a 451 (have 1641 with a 451 too!) and it just says to add grease annually and gives the capacity’s. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Also, is there anything else I should look for or do to the machine? So far I’ve changed the oil/filter, hydro fluid and air filter. I’ve also did a “working tractor” repaint of the frame and fenders (was only used for snow blowing so was a bit rusty). Doesn’t appeared to have any leaks except a slight oil seep from a small section of the sump gasket. I know this is common on the commands.
