Frozen Screws in PTO
I have a Cub Cadet 126. The small allen screws in the Implement Actuating pulley for PTO type A http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/showthread.php?t=9 are frozen. We have tried penetrating oil, and heating the PTO, but the screws won't come out. Any ideas?

What penetrating oil are you using? I use kroil, heat and cold for really tough stuff. First soak with kroil for a few days, then apply heat to the body of the pto clutch, followed by a shot of dust off with the can turned upside down so the cold liquid goes into the set screw hole. Try to remove the set screws as soon as you hit it with dust off.

I have had luck removing screws with an impact driver like this: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...&blockType=G19

Only issue I see with a hand impact driver is finding a long enough 1/8 allen bit to reach the set screws

Using a #20 torx bit works well too if the hole in the set screw is stripped or starting to strip. Tap it all the way in with a hammer, they grip really well kinda like the "flank drive" system that Snap On uses.

I've ended up drilling and re-tapping mine...
