Serial number help again

Picked up an 86 this weekend (at least that's what the hood says). Was told it had a 10 hp in it. I'm wondering if it was an 86 or if someone swapped hoods. Here is the sn: 20500A2U400498

The serial "20500A2" is not valid and is probably is 2050042. If that is the case, then it is a model 86. Looks like it was made in Aug 1971.

Thanks Roland. You were right it was a 4 not an A. Now I need to source an 8 hp for it
