Today’s Haul
3 Attachment(s)
I acquired a 125 from a family friend. He’s getting older and starting to get rid of some things. His neighbor cuts his grass, and doesn’t usually use this one, he uses his 149 or 1810. He wanted to see it go to a good home. It’s in nice shape, he painted it at one time. I think he bought it new. It came with a 42” deck, 42” plow, wheel weights (not IH), and a rear lift. It’s not running now, but ran last year. It should just need a battery and the carb cleaned.
He also threw in a John Deere push mower. Not sure if it’s any good or not, it hasn’t ran in years. I’ll post more pictures later. |
Nice haul.

It was made in June 1969. It also has a spring assist which I didn’t notice before. I drained the old gas out, the carburetor is soaking. I’m going to try to get it started tomorrow. Here’s more pictures:

I got the tractor running today. I think the carb needs a slight adjustment, but it runs pretty good. He said the motor was worn out, but it seems good to me. Just a small puff of smoke on startup, no funny noises or anything. I may put the plow on tomorrow and put it to work.
