Parade hauler
Looking for suggestions/pics of a parade hauler set up. I have a #2 trailer that I'm looking to put a seat(s) of sorts in for shows and/or parades, and attaching an umbrella mount. I've done a generic google search but didn't find much. Ideas?

I've seen guys use the blue plastic 55 gallon drums laid on their side as 2 wheel rigs with a seat inside. They make a small train of them about 5 or more, linking them together with hitches to each other and then put their children/grandchildren or just friends' children in them and drive through the parade. But the best I have ever seen is a guy who made train cars out of wood mounted on 4 wheel rigs with seats both forward and backward. He had a wooden framework (probably out of luan or plywood) cut out as the sideview of a steam locomotive attached to the side of his garden tractor, along with the cow catcher on the front. It was a really neat looking set up and certainly a crown pleaser!

Funny I’m doing nearly the same thing. I just got a no 2 lastnight. Had several years ago sold and traded them off and kinda missed hauling kids in it. Have a no 4 just kinda dig the looks of a no 2, lol. What I’m doing now is building sides out of 1x8 and gonna rig an umbrella mount up unsure of how I’m gonna do the seats as of yet may just throw a cushion in the bed and call it good

I made this not long ago just scrap wood. Not bolted in but fits tight.

I grabbed some cushions off the wife lawn furniture and threw a beach towel over the bare wood. Works great grandkids wanna ride all the time. Grand daughter is askin to go as I’m typing. She’s three.
