Tire chain clearance ? ?
 

Morning !

I have a 1872 , it has the 26" rear tires. is there clearance enough for tire

chains to clear the fender lip ? Its quite close.

Has anyone done a "lift kit" on their fenders? I don't see anywhere that there

would be a problem using say 1/2" or 3/4" spacers and longer bolts to raise

the fenders for more clearance.

They are close to the fender pan. You can also install a "wheel spacer" to extend the rear wheels out by 1/4" or more.
