Help with 1450 with tiller

I was recently given a 1450 with a tiller and the tiller lifts fine. It will slowly drop to the ground on it’s own. Not sure
if it only happens when it’s not running because I raise and lower it often while using it. Maybe the hydraulic valve ?

Maybe a leaking Hydraulic Cylinder.

It could be the valve, or cylinder,,
but,, if it is real slow,, just run it,,
the repairs could cost more than the equipment is worth,,,:bigthink:

If you put a lift assist spring on it,, that may totally resolve the issue,,,

How long does it take to drop?
I lower any attachment to the ground when I'm not using it.

If it takes an hour or so, it is normal, them tillers is powerful heavy. :biggrin2:

Very additive, but some my wife is immune, and my kids. It does not affect them. I am picking up some tomorrow as a matter of fact. :biggrin2::biggrin2:
