44c Deck on my 100?

Hey guys, I picked up a crusty 44c deck today and I was wondering if there would be any problems fitting it into my 100? I don’t think I’ve ever seen this deck on a 100, and just want to make sure there isn’t a reason.

Also, I understand these spindles are easy to rebuild. I wonder if anyone has any type of tutorial page outlining the details of rebuilding these spindles. Thanks a lot.

thirty years ago i fit a 44c to a 100 i used to have, if i recall you need parts from both wide and narrow lift frames and some modifications to make it work.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll start fiddling around and see what I need.

That's cool. What pto belt did it take? I'm picking up a 44A Thursday and have a 100. Not what it's intended for, but. Mike:beerchug:
