Kohler Parts Question

Hello
I have 2 Kohler engine blocks (pre-quietline) that are 10hp. I'm wondering how easily could I put a 16hp camshaft and driveshaft in and beef up the hp. I know I will probably will have the piston bore to .30 over also...just wondering

The 10 thru 16 horsepower Kohlers use the same cam.

I have a 16hp. Kohler in my 104. It uses K301 engine tin, flywheel and starter generator. There just isn't room for OEM exhaust. When I get some more grease off of it I'll add the engine picts to my album. BTW I will probably go back to a K241 in the fall.
