Custom hitch diskgang
1 Attachment(s)
Here is some metal I will be useing this saturday to make a hitch for my disks. Like I said before that I have not alot of information of how the 3-point hitch operates in rythem with the diskgang, and after a few trys of pulling them. I made a decision. A fter all, you dont know what you dont know, right? With an Ace up my sleeve, I should come out alright to make this outfit run. One swipe through the tilled garden and it was another 40 miles before I could turn it around! I'am very happy with these as they realy do a number on this half-way tilled soil! I'll be happy to share picts. when its done. Next time I'd like to duel up the rear wheels as I took note why. Love gardens.....Wild Bill done me right! Was not sure where to post, sorry.

I sure did find alot of information here at Only Cub Cadets. Alot of fine tallent and great skill shared........Way more than what I'am used to. So the 3 point mount on the rear of the 71 was what I simply built off of. The mount can be removed at any time and the 3 point cub cadet hitch and cub cadet sleeve hitch or what have you can be installed. This set up I made is only for my gang of disks. I believe it to be very formatiable foe in strength and construction. When I can get picts. up, I would like comments good or bad, ideas on improvement I guess is what I'am getting at. Thanks, John

Here is the disk hitch I made yesterday. It is no way perfect and I am sure you guys are a lot better, hats off to ya! Its all structure steel. Don't see any bending going on, at the most busted welds, which my welder is a pro!

Here are some more. Thats as far as I got. Went with the 1/2 in. holes, had no drill bit bigger. Seems like there is something missing here. The hitch free floats up and down. This is some thing I dont know to be good or bad, as the gardens I use it in are not suddenly hilly or what not. I dont think I'am done here.:American Flag 1::American Flag 1:
