551 Snowblower

Hello,
I’m running a 551 blower on a 2182 and find the fan is slowing down under heavy load. The belt is new and doesn’t seem to be slipping and my next point of concern is the clutch. Anyone with thoughts on other things I can check would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

If you think the front electric PTO clutch is the cause, try OPE Xtreme PTO clutches. Very nice. They have the early and later style for the 2182. I had the later. Worked great.

ALSO- check the air gap and make sure the inner and out bearings are good on your PTO clutch.
