682 electrical saftey switches
 

The PO of my 682 wired a push button starter button because he said the iginition switch was bad. Well after some playing, I found out the switch is not getting the proper power. So either there is a bad wire or another problem.

The electrical diagram I have shows two saftey switches, one being the pto seat switch. Can anyone tell me where the 2nd switch is and what it does?

Its probably the neutral safety switch...brakes gotta be depressed for it to start... (try that first) Just follow your brake pedal connections. If i remember, mine is located center of the tractor between the frame, you might be able to see it with the tunnel cover off.
