Cub 1872 Value
 

I am looking at a Cub 1872 with 60" haban that the current owner claims needs a new wiring harness. Are the harness available?

Also what should I expect to pay for a Cub with ~1200 hours that I can't verify runs since it has a bad harness?

Pictures would help a lot. The deck is worth 200-300 in my area. The tractor as whole about 500.00 for me. Worth more in parts.

Thanks for the response. It is missing the headlight panel as well. He is asking $700.

That is too high for one that does not run.

I always tell people that if you don’t know if it runs, buy it for parts. If the owner wants “good, running tractor” money for it, it needs to be running.

To me that’s a 300-500 tractor depending on condition and options. Might be a simple fix, or it might need a whole engine rebuild. That can easily run you $800-1k on that engine.

Harnesses are fairly easy to build and I bet are available for not too crazy money.
