1541 add on
I got a 1541 cub given to me from my grandparents. I was wondering how hard would it be to add another hydraulic lever so i can run a angled plow. Any advice or what i need would be greatly appreciated. This guys getting too old to keep jumping back and forth moving it.

It’s do-able without too much work if you can find the parts. There was a lot from MTD to do it back in the day but they are no longer available, so you’ll need to scour ebay or a parts yard to find the stuff you’ll need. |
Those parts are hard to source. You might have better luck finding a tractor that is already set up. A super, like a 1872, would be good.

The kit # is 759-3493A and the installation manual is 772-4100A. Google "772-4100A Manual" and you will find a pdf file with instructions and parts needed. Note the "N" tube with your serial number to see if you need it. I have many of the "L" tube used on all air cooled models. Other parts are fairly easy to come up with.

Guess I have to eat crow on this one. I was wrong about the parts being hard to locate.
There was a member making the extend/retract label. The would be a nice finishing touch. Found it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cub-Cadet-7...IAAOSwsZJbP7V3 |
