1050 Drive shaft
 

Does anybody have the overall length of a 1050 drive shaft and the coiled spring pin locations? Just picked up a 1050 that has sat for about the last 15yrs and the PO said the drive shaft had broken and he made a new one out of 4140 rod. This was 15 yrs ago and he gave up on it. I just want to double check dimensions before I install it in the tractor and find out something is not in the right location.

I just got done redoing a drive shaft for my 1050. Wish I would have written them down. Hopefully you have all the pieces as the throw out bearing and spacer/teaser cup are special.

I will say that the oe shaft was pointed on the trans end and figured out with talking to Tim and Jon that you should take off a little on the end as the pointed shaft preloads the input bearing and makes the 1050 whine a lot
