2362 Snowblower
I am going to start a new thread on this project. The 1862 roller I bought from Sam is going to now be used as my dedicated snowblower with the 451 and deluxe cab I have. It's too much hassle to swap it out twice a year. And the 23hp Vanguard will actually get to do some real work. If it snows.:beerchug:
I will start working on the engine transplant tomorrow. I got the first parts that I need today. The front tires on the 1862 only hold air for about 20 minutes and are very dry rotted. These should turn pretty good in the snow. They only cost about $15 more than the turf savers. More pics tomorrow. https://i.postimg.cc/HnRhWPY3/IMG-20...-212121340.jpg |
should be a fun machine.

Looks like you have a plan!
What are those front tires? It seems like the tread pattern somewhat looks like the IH symbol sideways! |
I hadn't noticed that!:beer2:
They are Carlisle Snow Hog 16x6.50x8. Got them on Amazon for$28 before tax and fees. $59.22 for the pair to my door. :beerchug: |
Cool! :beerchug:

Sounds like an interesting project. Keep us posted and updated and.....wth pictures.

Got the engines swapped yesterday. Driveshaft installed today. Also got the tires dismounted. The rims are really rusty so I will blast and powder coat them tomorrow.

Looks like fun, what is next after the wheel painting, the footrest?

I can look at my 1862 parts machine to see if the footrests are any good
