New to me 127

Hello everyone, Just joind the site recently. I just got a 127 back in June. It was a one owner machine and I got it with a 48" deck, IH Cub Cadet 32 Dump Trailor and a right angle gear box thats like new. It was very dirty in the garage where it was kept but I saw potential. i could not start it because it had some broken wires by the harness and steering tower. So I bought it on the persons word that it all worked. So got it home and cleaned it up, brought it to a buddys house and within a hour he was driving it arround his house and it ran great !!! So just ordered a new wire harness and it going in this week along with a full oil and rear fluid change.

how i found it

Thanks

Thanks guys. I am really excited to get it back this week. My shed is being installed on Friday so I will have some room!!! A buddy of mine does tractor repairs for a living so it has been living at his house. He is putting the wire harness in it for me and chainging the fluids and minimal cost. So I figured let him get everything adjusted and then he can let me know what else it needs. I figure then I will use it for awhile and then over the winter start some refurbing. I am going to look for some New Lug tires for the back and some tri ribs for the front. The fronts are actually kinda shot.

I also love the look of a wide stance, looks like it is ready to explode off the drive and tackle the lawn.

I'm with everyone else. I love those rears... My 'O' has the Firestone's like that, but it's 6-12. I'm going to have to switch my rears out once I get the 127 going good, my backyard is nothing but slope. Weights/fluid still won't cut it with turfs, I need a little bite. I've got "All Trails" on my GT2544, but I want to keep it "old school" on the 127.

Looks great, real great!!! Did you use any degreaser or just pressure wash it?

I see some goodies there, i.e. 3 point lift, helper spring, rear pto, and a #2 cart. And a nice looking tractor to boot. You hit the lottery!

JaysNJcub127,

Nice looking tractor. She certainly cleaned up nicely. What size are the tires on the back? Wow do they seem wide.

Either way, have fun and remember to be safe.

Regards,

Jeff
