If you would use punctuation your post would be easier to read.

Not sure what you mean by cracking but If you need to pull the choke to make it run better chances you have a fuel or air restriction. There could be junk in the carb or fuel lines and or tank. I would start by checking fuel system.

I think you may have meant vacuum leak instead of air restriction.

I' have no idea what he means by cracking either.

ok sorry guys lets try again. start tractor cold,no problem it will set and idle fine, rev up and down ,no problem when you start moving it (on a pull) the engine starts surging (revving up and down) back firing trying to cut off. if you slightly pull choke it helps enough to get back to shed but still does it. and when i get it back even at idle it still does it hope this explains it better thanks kenny

Pulling out choke to make it run better is indicative of a carb issue. Take off and clean or rebuild. Will have to remove manifold. Be mindful of the gaskets. Good time to clean up the engine

Are both fuel tank valves fully open? On my 1864 when the fuel tank was low, the engine would want to surge, die under load. I was using only the left tank valve and it was major plugged. I removed fuel tank, cleaned tank and both valves, replaced complete fuel hose and fuel filter. No further issues.

If your fuel system has never been serviced, it's due.

yea both vales open.i use stabill in all my gas. letting it run out now to put in new.sprayed carb cleaner in it seemed to help for a little while, Governor on and off causing surge and wont idle at low rpms.
